John (born 14 April 1915 in Providence, RI, died 20 November 2007) is the well-known author of The Sherman Directory (described in our Research Books web page with member provided revisions on a separate page, updated Septmeber, 2007), which includes over 25,000 Shermans! THANK YOU, John for your much-appreciated support! John was added in January 2001 to the list of "Honorary Life Members" of SOY.
